  • It's solid all-around disc. It's not my favorite of theirs, but it has a lot of quality songs on it. One of those CD's that I rarely have any need to skip a song on.

  • This is my favorite Sonia Dada cd - in a close race with their first. This one has several excellent tracks, most notably the energetic "Screaming John" - that blend together seamlessly. They go from rockin' to soul to gospel ("Take me Back") to zydeco ("Ann Lee") and onto a wistful ballad ("Amazin' Jane"). No single track is completely exceptional, but the strength of the whole is undeniable.
