  • I don't remember how or when I found this band, but I do recall someone making a reference to them being a "west coast Grizzly Bear" (of which band I'm a fan). I'm not sure if I actually find the description apt; I suppose there are similarities in that both explore sonic landscapes and vocal harmonics. And I'm pretty sure I just made that up and didn't just channel an old Rolling Stone article. Regardless, this album has become a staple of mine and has seen incessant playtime. Highly recommended.
