  • Probably the first album that I liked that was silly, well aside from the Muppets. Just a ton of short, fun, and odd songs: "Birdhouse in Your Soul" is a great opener. "Istanbul (Not Constantinople)" pretty much defines their quirkiness that's now lasted decades. "Dead" is a simply and great track. "Particle Man" was probably most notable on a personal level when my younger brother and I went nuts with when it was on a cartoon we were watching. "Hearing Aid" is just all over the place with sounds and crooning. And speaking of that, the old crooner track "Road Movie To Berlin" is just a great closer to such a weird, fun, electric album.
