Description
The story has a few themes... Nanotechnology and the problems it brings. One girl's quest for survival. Nature vs. Nuture. It's based in a future China that's broken into various factions, each of which is dependent on nanotechnology (read: atomic level robots and microwave-like devices that can create things out of thin air).

- Very well written with some cool ideas and concepts. Unlike some of his other books, he doesn't really go into technical detail (which is not to say that he does not go into detailed descriptions). The story moves along at a good clip and doesn't drag at all for its 400+ pages.
