- A good sit-back-and-open-a-can-of-beer record. Preferrably Pabst. If you can see him live, do. He has a great rough around the edges presence and a terrific dry sense of humor which is interwoven through his songs and supporting stories. Unfortunately, the stories didn't make it to the CD, and although the roughness translated, the humor was less successful.
