Phish

An amazing live band. Four guys (guitar, drums, keyboards, bass) that play extremely well together. Their sound is rock-based, but a style all their own. They are rather playful and silly at times. They mix it up; they swing between rock, blues and bluegrass with ease. They've played with pretty much everyone and cover a ride range of tunes (e.g. the Beatles to Pink Floyd to Will Smith). They have a large and loyal following; while they may never have an album go triple platinum, they can sell out Giants Stadium without a problem. They're coming off a year break or so with a new studio album and a tour set to start in February 2003.
