Screaming Trees

Part of the Seattle grunge scene, the band was formed in the mid 1980s by Mark Lanegan (vocals) and brothers Van (bass) and Gary Lee Conner (guitar). All have had various side projects and/or solo effors. Van formed the band Solomon Grundy. Gary Lee formed Purple Outside. Mark released a number of solo albums, and also was in Queens of the Stone Age for a bit. The band officially broke up in June 2000.
