Medeski Martin & Wood
A free-form jazz trio. They generally play drums (Billy Martin), upright bass (Chris Wood), and a Hammond B3 organ (John Medeski); their sound is very distinctive. It grooves. It soothes. It moves ya. It's not uncommon to see them play with the likes of John Scofield or in side projects like The Word.
