- Very well written; the main character is probably one of the best I've read in awhile, both in terms of depth and in being able to relate to. The author successfully combines love, humor, war, and death in a novel that will stay with you long after you read it.

- This book took a few chapters to draw me in, but once it did I was hooked. About everything you can say about a "classic" novel, you can say about this one. Truly a great book.
