H is for Hawk

Borrowed it as it has a hawk on the cover and title. And it does go into detail for falconry, which is a side of birding I'm not familiar with. She's dealing with the death of a close family member, so it's not a light book by any stretch. The book's downfall for me was the tediousness surrounding her fixation on the author T.H. White; it feels like half the book, maybe more, and felt forced.
