Reviews

  • Frankly I hate Charlie Dominici's voice. If James LaBrie had never joined the band, I wouldn't be listening to them at all. That having been said, Dream Theater is my favorite band and musically, this album is pretty good, it's technically impressive though lacking any feeling. You can tell this is their first release because the band doesn't have that perfect blend of technical wonder and emotion that they have now. Despite the fact that it is good musically I just can't get over the vocals enough to listen to the album.
