Reviews

  • I love Dream Theater, but to me this album is not Dream Theater. There are no incredibly difficult parts, no crazy leads, and no truly memorable songs. They felt a lot of pressure from the record company to produce another "hit album" and were forced to a softer, more radio friendly sound. The result is an album that feels like it's been held back and stripped down. There are a few songs on it that I enjoy like "New Millenium", "Just Let Me Breathe", and "Lines In the Sand", but there is just nothing here that makes you say "wow, this is great".
