Battlefield Vietnam

The game is pretty fun and intense. I've done both single player and multiplayer, and have to say that finding a good multiplayer server is the key. >p< Single player is solid for learning the maps and gameplay, but the AI leaves something to be desired. The "Easy" setting is pathetic as the computer blindly runs around and just waits to get killed. "Normal" is interesting; I generally kill 2:1 or better (sometimes WAY better), yet I find it tough to win a map. I do like how single player lets you play with 30 or so bots (assuming your machine can handle it). >p< I've only played multiplayer a few times, but, as in other games of this sort, the server you join makes all the difference. Some servers are just flat out poorly run; they offer excessive lag and/or poor management (e.g. playing the same map repeatedly or allowing people to spawn camp). This game was meant for multiplayer, and luckily those downsides are overcome by simply jumping servers. >p< One note: the release version can be rather picky as to your graphics driver, so odds are you'll need to update.
