Another game I picked up on sale; still getting a feel for it, so my rating could still swing wildly in either direction. I will say my first experience was horrendous. I waited through the intro movie, including the in-game sequence, finally got to the part where I could do something and then died. Result? Game restarted from the very beginning (movie, et al) and did not let me skip. I was able to pause and see an autosave; it loaded from the beginning of the movie. So I had to wait through the intro crap again (which involves a few moments of interaction and also pauses if you go out of the game, so you can't simply afk). It's a shooter and I expect to die a lot, don't make me hit save every 3 minutes.
After that, I played through the first group of quests to take out a base of bad guys. The graphics are pretty sweet (although I can't compare to other recent FPS's, since I haven't played any aside from the older and cartoony TF2). I still need to try multiplayer, which will largely determine if the game stays installed on my machine or not.
