Description
This is Anthrax's follow up release to Stomp 442, and is on the "Ignition" label (which has since gone under). This album is missing the lead work of Danny Spitz, some of which is filled in by Paul Crook. It features some great tracks like "Catharsis," and "Inside Out" (which can be heard in the video game ATV Off-road Fury on PS2).

- Volume 8 is a pretty solid disc from one of the greatest metal bands to come out of the late 80s "hair band" era. It unfortunately lacks the lead guitar parts of their previous releases, but has some good tracks nonetheless. A great effort that is an improvement from "Stomp 442", but not quite up to par with "Sound of White Noise" or their latest "We've Come For You All."
